PROCEDURES FOR MAKING APPOINTMENTS:  Any member or person desiring to see the Pastor and ministerial staff or who requests an appointment must schedule such appointments with the church secretary, Sis. Carole Jenkins.  No one should go to the Pastor's or ministerial staff office without first checking in the office with the secretary.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation in this matter.

MEETINGS:  All groups or ministries holding meetings in the Church or the Christian Education Building must schedule such meetings "24" hours in advance through the secretary in the Church Office.  This is for security purposes.  Thank you for cooperating in this matter.

CELL PHONES IN THE SANCTUARY:  All members and visitors are requested to turn off their cell phones (you may put them on vibrate mode), prior to entering the sanctuary for Worship Services.  This is one of the ways in which we show our reverence to God.  We thank you in advance for your cooperation.

HEALTH CONCERNS:  If you are in need of assistance during Sunday Worship Service, a member of the Health Ministry is located in the rear of the sanctuary.

PSALMS CHRISTIAN BOOKSTORE:  The Bookstore is open following morning Worship Service.  It is located at the end of the hall to your left when exiting the sanctuary.  Attention one and all:  Are you someone who is an avid reader?  Do you have retail experience?  If so, your services are needed in the Psalms Christian Bookstore.  Please stop by after morning services for more details!

REMINDER:  Please refrain from eating or drinking in the Sanctuary!  Thank you.

ST. PAUL FAMILY SUNDAY SCHOOL OPEN HOUSE SEPTEMBER 14th:  Children and adults of all ages are invited to attend the "Sunday School Open House" on Sunday, September 14, 2008.  Come and find out what our Sunday School Classes offer to support your spiritual growth and better your understanding of the Bible and its meaning in your life.  Adults are encouraged to attend class with their child(ren) or to join one of our Adult Classes.  We look forward to seeing you at 8:30 a.m.
 
SUNDAY FAMILY BIBLE STUDY CLASS FOR MARRIED COUPLES:  It has begun, St. Paul is offering a new Sunday Family Bible Study Class that is offered especially for married couples.  The first class series is titled "Growing Together in Christ".  Join us at 8:30 a.m.  And don't forget there are Sunday Bible Study classes for everyone!  Come out and be edified and blessed!

 MARRIAGE ENRICHMENT MINISTRY:  Come join the Marriage Enrichment Ministry at the Family Life "Weekend To Remember" Marriage Conference on Friday, September 26, 2008 through Sunday, September 28, 2008 at the Hanover Marriott Parsippany.  The cost is $129.00 per person.  You can receive an $80.00 discount per couple if you register by Sunday, September 7, 2008.  The cost does not include hotel accommodations.  Brochures with registration details are available in the Church Office.

HEADED TO COLLEGE OR THE MILITARY:  If you are headed to college or the military this fall and will not be living at home, please go to the office and let us know your contact information, including mailing address and e-mail address at your school or military assignment.  Your Church Family would like to keep in touch with you and support you while you are away.

MEN'S 2008 ACTIVITIES PLANNING:   Calling ALL "Men of God" interested in participating in the planning of our 2008/2009 Men's Activities and 2008 Men's Day Program.  Men's Day is now scheduled for Sunday, December 7, 2008.  Your gifts, talents, skills, and good ideas are needed to help make this a blessed and successful event.  Join us for our next scheduled meeting on Saturday morning, September 6, 2008 at 9:30 a.m., in Room "A" downstairs in Billups Hall.  The Men's Ministry Fellowship is every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m., also in Room "A", come and be spiritually uplifted!

We are mentoring and sponsoring the Tyson Youth Group & Basketball Tournament again this summer through September, please sign up in the Church Office and join us every Saturday here at St. Paul at 10:30 a.m. to help with this worthy cause, it is not too late to sign up!

The SPBC Baptism Pictures for 2008 are now available for downloading.  All you need to do is double-click on the picture under "Our Photo Gallery", double-click on the picture of the first album titled "SPBC Baptism Pictures 2008", and search for your picture.  When you have found it, using your mouse "right click" on your picture and a menu will appear.  Select "Save Picture As...", and you can save the picture to your computer under any name or location of your choosing.  After the picture is on your computer, it can then be printed out on picture quality paper using your printer, or copied to a disk and taken to a professional for processing.

REGISTER FOR S.T.E.P. EXCEL AFTER SCHOOL PROGRAM:  Soon the school bells will be ringing again!  It is time to register your child for St. Paul Baptist Church's Study To Excel (S.T.E.P.) Ministry After-School Program.  We offer homework help, great meals, a loving staff along with fun and games at an affordable rate.  We are registering children in grades K-6 for this quality after-school homework help and enrichment center, weekdays from 2:00 p.m. - 6:00 p.m.  Limited spaces are available.  Application and Registration forms are available in the Church Office.
