PARENTS BIBLE STUDY GROUP BEGAN SEPTEMBER 24th:  Parents of children aged birth to 18 are invited to participate in a new Bible Study Group which started on September 24, 2008.  The group will meet on Thursdays during the Children and Youth Choir rehearsals.  We are beginning with "Parenting the Way God Parents".  Feel free to drop in, it is not too late!

ST. PAUL LEADERSHIP TRAINING IN OCTOBER HAS BEGUN:  The "2008-2009 St. Paul Leadership Training" began on Wednesday, October 8, 2008.  We will meet for four (6) sessions.  All members are invited to participate in this opportunity for discipleship.  All leaders are expected to participate.  Please sign up in the Church Office.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY:  Understanding the timeless connections between women of today and women in the Bible is the focus of our Women's Bible Study Groups over the next months.  Join us on either Sunday mornings at 8:30 a.m. or on Thursday evenings at 6:30 p.m.  See Sis. SPBC FALL LEADERSHIP TRAINING HAS STARTED:  All church leaders are asked to mark their calendars for a 4-week leadership training conducted by Pastor Michael J. SUNDAY SCHOOL IS FOR PARENTS, TOO:  So, don't just drop off the kids and run to Dunkin Donuts for that last cup of coffee (tea, orange juice...).  Share in your child's learning.  Join Min. Sam Pendleton and Deacon and Deaconess Griffin in the Faith Weaver Adult Class.  This class brings families together as each week adults talk about the same Scriptures as their children are learning in their Sunday School Class.  These Bible lessons will spark meaningful family conversations about faith and life.  The class meets in Billups Hall each Sunday at 8:30 a.m.

SUNDAY SCHOOL IS FOR EVERYONE:  St. Paul Baptist Church's Sunday Morning Family Bible School offers children and adults an opportunity to learn and grow in their faith.  Most classes meet every Sunday morning at 8:30 a.m., before Sunday Worship.  The Young Adult class will meet following the morning Worship Service, and a light lunch will be served.  Register today for this time of study and application of God's Word to real life issues and circumstances.  Registration for this new year of study and application of God's Word has begun.  Please stop by the Church Office to pick up a list of the classes offered, a registration form, and join the class of your choice.

SUMMER BIBLE STUDY IS FOR EVERYONE:  Summer is no time to take vacation from growing in your bible knowledge and your understanding of its application to your life.  Please join us in Sunday Morning Family Bible School and Wednesday Evening Backyard Bible Study during July (Starts July 25th) and August (Ends August 29th).  Visitors are always welcome!

NEW STUDY GROUP FOR YOUNG ADULTS:  If you are 19-30 years of age (or still feel like you are), please join us each Sunday at 12:00 noon. for a vibrant discussion of understanding our faith and its application to the challenges and opportunities of our daily lives.  Sign up in the Church Office and/or show up each Sunday.

GIVE ME THAT OLD TIME RELIGION ON JUNE 3rd:  Join our Children's Church participants on Sunday, June 3, 2007, in celebrating the role of hymns in the Black Church.  The program will be held in Billups Hall immediately following morning Worship Service.

DAILY BIBLE READING PROGRAM:  During May, Spiritual Discipline Emphasis Month, we encourage all members to set aside time to read God's Word daily.  It is never too late to sign up and join fellow members of our congregation in a discipline of reading the Bible daily.  Choose from the following programs:  A Moment With Scripture - Pre-Selected readings from the Old and New Testaments; Lamplights - Read the New Testament and Psalms in 12 months; or Read-On-Your-Own - Record your Daily Readings.  Each month, drop off completed coupons recording your readings in the purple Bible Reading Box on the table in the hallway in front of the Nursery.

CHILDREN'S CHURCH VOLUNTEERS NEEDED:  A special children's worship and learning experience is offered during Sunday Worship Services (except on 2nd Sundays).  Please volunteer to assist.  You can help one Sunday a month or one Sunday each quarter.  Please sign up in the Church Office.

WOMEN'S BIBLE STUDY GROUPS:  During Women's History Month, two NEW Bible study classes are being offered for women.  On Sundays at 8:30a.m., join us as we study Jesus' encounter with the Woman at the Well and its relevance to our lives today.  On Wednesdays at 7:00p.m., join us in a study of six New Testament women in the Bible and what their lives tell us about Finding Balance between our day-to-day obligations and how to use these lessons in our Christian walk.  Sign-up in the Church Office today.
