MEN'S MINISTRY 2012 ACTIVITIES PLANNING:   Calling ALL "Men of God" interested in participating in the planning of our 2012 Men's Activities.  Your gifts, talents, skills, and good ideas are needed to help make this a blessed and successful new year!  Join us for our next scheduled meeting on Saturday morning, February 4th, 2012 at 9:30 a.m., in Room "A".  The Men's Ministry Fellowship is every Saturday morning at 8:00 a.m., in Room "A", come and be spiritually uplifted!

Renee Haynes for taking 2nd Place with his "Banana Pudding", and Sis. Sylvia "Mom" Spivey for taking 3rd Place with her "Strawberry Surprise".  A Hearty Honorable mention to all the other delicious dishes!  A Special Thank You to all who helped bring this event together!

MEN'S MINISTRY SERVING OUR COMMUNITY FUND:  In the current economic environment, community outreach is more important than ever.  A cornerstone of the Men's Ministry is to help magnify Jesus and St. Paul's reach in and around our communities.  To that end, in celebration of Men's Day 2008, the Men's Ministry created the "Serving Our Community" Fund.  Proceeds that were collected through January 4th will go to the following worthy causes within our community:  Montclair Food Pantry, HOME Corp., the Montclair Child Development Center, and the SPBC Men's Ministry Community Service Scholarship.  A heartfelt thank you to all that participated!

SUPER BOWL FELLOWSHIP:  The Men's Ministry is sponsoring it "Annual Super Bowl Fellowship" on Sunday, February 1, 2009 at 5:00 p.m.  Please join us for fellowship, food, fun, and football on a HUGE Screen!!!  All are welcome, bring your family and friends, a potluck dish that can be judged in our ever-popular Cook-Off Contest, your favorite lounge chair to relax, and root for your favorite team!  We will have games for children and adults.

SPBC HEALTH MINISTRY & MEN'S MINISTRY BLOOD DRIVE:  The Health Ministry and Men's Ministry in collaboration with the Blood Center of New Jersey are hosting a blood drive for Minister David Anderson.  It will be held on Saturday, December 20, 2008 from 9:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. in Billups Hall.  All blood types are accepted.  Please sign up in the Church Office.  For more information, you may contact Deaconess Aida Anderson or the Health Ministry at .

JOIN THE MEN'S CHOIR - REHEARSALS BEGAN SEPTEMBER 21st:  The Men's Ministry is calling on all men of St. Paul to be a part of a choir for the "Men's Day Celebration & Worship Service" on Sunday, December 7, 2008.  Choir rehearsals will be held each Sunday in the Sanctuary following Worship Service for "1" hour, it is still not too late to join.  We have CD's of the songs for you to listen and practice on your own between rehearsals.  No prior choir or singing experience necessary.

PASTOR COX TEACHING MOMENT FOR MEN:  Its that time again!  The Men's Ministry is having another "Teaching Moment & Breakfast For Men" on Saturday, October 4, 2008 at 8:30 a.m. in Billups Hall.  Please come out for fellowship and edification.  Please sign up in the Church Office!

SPBC HEALTH MINISTRY - HEALTHY FATHER'S DAY EVENT:  The Health Ministry at St. Paul Baptist Church encourages you to give the dads and men in your life the gift of good health this Father's Day by reminding them of the importance of healthy living.  Join us on Saturday, June 14, 2008 at 11:00 a.m. for a Healthy Father's Day Prostrate Screening and Information event.  The FREE screenings are provided by Dr. Guy Frances and nurses from UMDNJ S.A.V.E. Program.  Healthy side dishes and refreshments will be provided!

MONTCLAIR AFRICAN AMERICAN FESTIVAL:  The Men's Ministry will be sponsoring "2" Booths at the "Montclair African American Festival", on Saturday, June 7, 2008.  We will be exemplifying our core value of "Evangelism" by ministering to the community about our savior Jesus Christ and about St. Paul Baptist Church!  All ministries are invited to participate in this endeavor; wear your ministry T-Shirt!  Come out uplift Jesus, your church, and your ministry!  MINISTRIES & MEN PLEASE SIGN UP IN THE CHURCH OFFICE!
