Through the years St. Paul Baptist Church has been blessed with the leadership of many spirit-filled ministers who were devoted to their charge of serving God’s people and giving inspired wisdom and service to the church and community. Because of their outstanding guidance and dedicated effort, St. Paul has become a magnificent beacon on the path to salvation.
Effective immediately, SPBC is seeking a Part-Time Receptionist. This position will be primarily responsible for attending to visitors, fielding inquiries on the phone and in person; supply general information regarding St. Paul Baptist Church to the church members and the general public (verbal and written).
Qualified applicants should have good verbal and written communication skills, a professional and personal presentation, be customer service oriented, have initiative, patience, reliability and stress tolerence. Compensation will be Minimum Wage. Working Hours are Wednesday through Thursday 5:00 p.m - 8:00 p.m.

2013 Y.E.A.C. SCHOLARSHIPS FOR ST. PAUL H.S. SENIORS: Attention all St. Paul high school seniors! On Sunday, March 3rd, applications will be available in the Church Office for the 2013 Y.E.A.C. Scholarships. Application deadline is March 24th, 2013. The Virginia Mitchell Scholarships provide financial support for each of our graduating seniors planning to pursue any postsecondary education including trade schools, 2 or 4 year colleges. The Royful, Scott, and Holley Scholarships encourage those achieving academic excellence and those with a heart for community service. In addition, two efforts have been established to provide the funding necessary for other scholarships. The first is the CUSH Ink Jet and Printer Cartridge Recycling Project. The other source of funds is our general appeal to the SPBC congregation to contribute at least $150.00 per family. All funds raised will be restricted solely for YEAC scholarships for this or future years. You will be hearing more about both efforts.

THE CHURCH IN STUDY... Study On Sunday: The Adult Sunday School Class (#1),Min. Joseph Andrews, Instructor. Join our Senoir Adults as they study God's Word with the Standard Lesson Commentary. A traditional class filled with the prayers, tesimonies, and the wisdom of our church "elders". (8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Hospitality Room)

If you enjoy probing questions and the opportunity to exchange ideas as you study God's Word, look no further! This class also uses the Standard Lesson Commentary and other reseources to uncover the truths of Scripture. (8:30 a.m. - 9:30 a.m. Room "A")
BIBLE READING MINISTRY: READ THROUGH THE BIBLE IN 2013! Everyone is encouraged to join the Bible Reading Ministry in reading through the Bible in 2013. Read with a friend or groups of friends. Read as a couple or family. You can sign up for your reading program in the Church Office starting next Sunday. A selection of reading plans will be available at that time. Join us on another exciting journey reading God's word throughout the year!

COMPUTER CLASSES RESUME IN THE COMPUTER
LAB: Computer classes have begun. We offer
two classes per week, on Tuesday mornings from 10:00 a.m. -
12:00 noon and Thursday evenings from 6:30 p.m. - 8:00
p.m. The course is designed to introduce students to
Microsoft Office. Students will complete exercises in the
following areas: word processing (Word),
presentation graphics (PowerPoint), spreadsheet preparation
(Excel), and database management
(Access). The lessons are designed to challenge both
the beginner, as well as, the advanced user. This Fall Semester will
focus on Word and Excel. Each component
of Office will be covered through 12 sessions.

IMPORTANT CHILDREN'S CHURCH WORSHIP INFORMATION: Children's Worship is available each Sunday (except 2nd/Youth Sunday). This ministry enables our young children (PreK-4th Grade) to learn about and worship God. If your child attends Children's Church/Worship Service, please remember that it is important that we check your child in and out. Check-in occurs between 9:45 a.m. - 10:00 a.m. and check-out is immediately after Church Service ends. If your child attends Sunday Bible School, please let the teachers know if they will stay for Children's Worship, indicating any food allergies. Over the next several Sundays we will provide registration forms so that we have up-to-date information about your child (Name, Age, Grade, Allergies, Parent/Guardian Contact Information, etc.)
